I am a first grade teacher at Kennebunk Elementary School. I have been teaching for twenty-four years. Nineteen of those years have been spent teaching first grade. I first started teaching in 1991 in Sanford, where I taught both first and third grade. In 2004, I came to MSAD71 and taught all-day kindergarten at Consolidated School, then moved back to first grade here at KES in 2007. My heart is in first grade, and I am excited to be a member of the KES First Grade Team. I grew up in Madawaska, Maine, and graduated in 1987. I then attended the University of Maine at Farmington and received my B.A. in Elementary Education in 1991. I presently live in Arundel with my husband, Mike and two sons, Christopher and Nicholas. (Christopher is a senior at UMF, and Nicholas is a freshman at UMO.) I enjoy reading, spending time with my family and dog Gracie, camping, doing wood crafts, cheering on my sons in all of their activities, and best of all watching the New York Yankees.
